Is this the same service as on Seeking Alpha?
Absolutely Not. The service on Seeking Alpha (Conservative Income Portfolio, CIP) is run by two authors and primarily focuses on NON CANADIAN ideas. Trappingvalue.ca is ONLY run by Trapping value and exclusively focuses on Canuck Investments.
What is your track record?
The original Enhanced Equity Income Solutions Portfolio in CIP is run on a different site (Seeking Alpha). It is benchmarked against the standard 60:40 portfolio (60% stocks, 40% bonds). We have used iShares Core 60/40 Balanced Allocation ETF (Ticker: AOR) for the performance comparison.
How often do you trade?
Trades will happen as opportunities present themselves. You can expect at least 2 trades per month.
Can I ask questions about non Canadian securities?
The coverage is limited to Canadian investments. Even there, we do not cover every stock in every sector. If you have followed our work previously on Seeking Alpha, you would be familiar with the the kind of stocks we cover. We will definitely not be covering US securities on this website. We may occasionally provide trade ideas for Canadian stocks cross listed on US exchanges. We will put down our rationale for investing in the picks in the respective trade alert and you can ask follow up questions.

How will I be able to track the Trades made by this service?
Upon signing up, you will have access to all the posts, which include trade alerts since inception of this service. To gain access to the google sheets which will list the trades, you will have to email trappingvalue@protonmail.com. You will be granted access within 1 to 2 business days.
What do the trade risk levels represent?
Option trades will generally have a risk rating between 2 and 6. ETF/CEFs will generally have a risk rating between 4-8. Fixed Income securities may have a risk rating as low as 1. All risk levels are estimates and reality can be quite different from forecasts.
How will I be notified about new trade ideas/research?
For every new post on the website, you will receive an email alert. Please ensure that trapping-value@ghost.io is added to your contacts with your email provider so that the correspondence does not go into Junk/Spam/Promotions folders.
How do I ask general questions about the website/service?
You will see a "General Chat" page in the navigation bar. We will create posts (within that page) and subscribers can use those to discuss general items. This comment feature does not accept media files (snapshots/pictures/videos etc.).
The chat room posts are only accessible by subscribers. Visitors to this website can email their questions to trappingvalue@protonmail.com.
I don't see an option to set up a password when I subscribe. If I am logged out, how do I get back access?
Three steps:
1) Click on "Sign in" at the top of the webpage.
2) Enter the email address you used to sign up for this service.
3) A six digit code will be sent to that email address, which you can then input to get logged back in.
